The Romero Foundation delivers 400,000 virtual scholarships for the 400,000 students of the state
schools of Metropolitan Lima
Lima, July 2022.-In order to contribute to the training of future entrepreneurs, the Romero
Foundation awards 400,000 virtual scholarships to all students from first to fifth grade of secondary
school in the state schools of Metropolitan Lima.
This initiative is possible thanks to the fact that the Romero Foundation signed an agreement with the
Regional Directorate of Education of Metropolitan Lima (DRELM) to grant scholarships through its Campus
Romero virtual training project.
This alliance allows students to enhance their training for entrepreneurship, training technical skills
in business and business management issues, as well as socio-emotional and leadership skills, with 05
learning routes that include content such as: creativity and innovation, computing, marketing , business
and personal development.
To access any of these scholarships, students who are studying between the first and fifth grade of
secondary school at any state school in Metropolitan Lima can enter the portal
www.becasgruporomero.pe, and follow
the steps indicated there.
This agreement is added to those already signed by the Romero Foundation with other public institutions
such as the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion, the Ministry of Production and the Ministry of
Labor and Employment Promotion, through which they have already been delivered- in the last two years-
more than 900,000 scholarships in virtual courses at Campus Romero, promoting entrepreneurship and
employability of Peruvian families.
